An Idea Is Born, Thanks To My Daughter

Once upon a time, a girl crafted. But then along came kids and life and now 20 years later the first child made a suggestion one day. "Mom, remember how you used to always make those flower arrangements? You were good at that. You should do that again." That little girl was 4 years old when I last did them and somehow remembered. My mind went back to the wonderful smell of eucalyptus and dried fall flowers and my creating juices started flowing. A new Era of creating had begun! Wow what's this incredible deco mesh stuff? And burlap! And all the new styles of ribbon! Oh my! Before I knew it, I had accumulated a massive amount of ribbon. I would just grab it because it was so pretty! My kids made fun of me because everytime I came home, i brought more ribbon, but made nothing. And then I sat down and looked at Pinterest and YouTube and began trying my hand at it. And to my surprise, after 18 years of not working, I realized I just may be good at something! Good enough to maybe, just maybe make a job of it. And this is where I now find myself. Giving a gift here, selling (at cost) there and realizing that there are people just like me, doing what they love and selling it on etsy. Why can't I do this? And so I shall. I can do this. And here is where I begin.
